本プライバシーポリシー（以下「本ポリシー」といいます）は、Yolca（以下「当方」といいます）が提供する語学学習アプリ「Memoreo」（以下「本アプリ」といいます）における、利用者の情報の取り扱いについて定めるものです。本アプリをご利用いただいた場合、本ポリシーの内容に同意いただいたものとみなします。

当方は、利用者のプライバシーを尊重し、その保護に努めます。本アプリは、利用者を特定するためのアカウント登録（会員登録・ログイン）の機能を持たず、氏名・メールアドレス・電話番号などの個人を特定する情報を収集することはありません。本アプリで利用者が作成・入力した学習データは、原則として利用者ご自身の端末内にのみ保存されます。
本アプリでは、以下の情報が利用者ご自身の端末内（ローカルストレージ）にのみ保存されます。これらの情報は外部のサーバーに送信・保存されることはなく、本アプリをアンインストールすると端末から削除されます。
当方は、これらの端末内データにアクセスすることはできません。
バックアップ機能で作成されるバックアップファイルは、利用者ご自身の操作によって作成・保存されます。作成されたファイルの保管と管理は利用者に委ねられ、当方がその内容を取得することはありません。
本アプリには、AIによる次の機能があります：例文・熟語・覚え方などの生成、写真からの単語の読み取り、貼り付けたテキストからの単語の抽出。利用者がこれらのAI機能を利用した場合に限り、以下の情報が外部に送信されます。
送信される情報：利用者が登録した単語とその訳、学習する言語の設定、母語の設定。写真からの読み取り機能を使用した場合は、利用者が撮影・選択した画像。テキスト解析機能を使用した場合は、利用者が貼り付けたテキスト。
送信されない情報：氏名、メールアドレス、端末を識別する情報など、利用者個人を特定できる情報は一切送信されません。
送信の経路：上記の情報は、当方が管理する中継サーバー（Cloudflare Workers）を経由して、Google が提供する生成AIサービス「Gemini API」に送信され、生成された結果が本アプリに返されます。
当方の中継サーバーでの取り扱い：当方の中継サーバーは、受け取った情報を Gemini API に転送し、その結果を返すだけの処理を行い、送信された単語・画像・テキストの内容を保存することはありません。なお、不正利用を防止するため、アクセス元のIPアドレスをアクセス頻度の制限（レート制限）の判定にのみ一時的に利用します。
Google Gemini API での取り扱い：Google Gemini API に送信された情報の取り扱いについては、Google の利用規約およびプライバシーポリシーに従って処理されます。詳細については、以下をご参照ください。
本アプリでは、利用者に安心してご利用いただくため、以下を行いません。
本アプリは、機能の提供のために端末の権限を使用することがあります。これらはいずれも該当する機能を正しく動作させるためのものであり、利用者の個人情報を収集する目的では使用しません。
復習通知の機能のために、Android 端末において以下の権限を使用します。
「写真からの単語読み取り」機能のために、利用者がこの機能を使用するときにのみ、カメラまたは写真（ギャラリー）へのアクセスを行います。撮影・選択された画像はAIによる読み取り処理（第2条2-2）にのみ使用され、本アプリが画像を端末外に別途保存することはありません。
マイク・位置情報などのその他のセンシティブな権限は要求しません。
当方は、本ポリシーに記載のない第三者に対して、利用者の情報を提供・販売・共有することはありません。ただし、AI機能の利用にあたり、第2条に記載のとおり Google Gemini API へ必要な情報を送信する場合を除きます。なお、法令に基づく開示請求があった場合など、法律上必要とされる場合には、この限りではありません。
本アプリは、特定の年齢層に限定したものではありませんが、個人情報を収集しない設計となっています。保護者の方は、お子様の利用について本ポリシーをご確認ください。
当方は、法令の変更や本アプリの機能追加などに応じて、本ポリシーを変更することがあります。重要な変更を行う場合には、本アプリ内または当方が指定する方法で通知します。変更後のポリシーは、本アプリ内または当方が指定する場所に掲載した時点から効力を生じるものとします。

This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") describes how Yolca (the "Developer," "we," "us," or "our") handles user information in connection with the language-learning app "Memoreo" (the "App"). By using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to the contents of this Policy.

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. The App does not provide any account registration or login functionality to identify users, and does not collect personally identifying information such as your name, email address, or phone number. The learning data that you create or enter in the App is, as a rule, stored only on your own device.
The following information is stored only within your own device (local storage). This information is not transmitted to or stored on any external server, and it is deleted from your device when you uninstall the App.
We are unable to access this on-device data.
Backup files created with the backup feature are created and saved by your own action. Storage and management of these files are your responsibility, and we never obtain their contents.
The App includes the following AI features: generating example sentences, idioms, and memory aids; extracting words from photos; and extracting words from pasted text. Only when you use these AI features, the following information is sent externally.
Information that is sent: the word you registered and its translation, the language-being-studied setting, and the native-language setting. If you use the photo extraction feature, the image you captured or selected. If you use the text parsing feature, the text you pasted.
Information that is NOT sent: No information that can personally identify you, such as your name, email address, or device identifiers, is sent.
Transmission route: The information above is sent, via a relay server managed by us (Cloudflare Workers), to the generative AI service "Gemini API" provided by Google, and the generated results are returned to the App.
Handling on our relay server: Our relay server simply forwards the received information to the Gemini API and returns the result; it does not store the transmitted words, images, or text. To prevent abuse, the IP address of the request is temporarily used solely for rate limiting.
Handling on Google Gemini API: The handling of information sent to the Google Gemini API is governed by Google's terms of service and privacy policy. For details, please refer to the following.
To allow you to use the App with peace of mind, we do not do the following.
The App may use device permissions to provide its features. All of these are for the proper operation of the corresponding feature and are not used for the purpose of collecting your personal information.
To provide the review-notification feature, the App uses the following permissions on Android devices.
For the "extract words from photos" feature, the App accesses your camera or photos (gallery) only when you use that feature. Captured or selected images are used solely for AI extraction (Section 2-2), and the App does not separately store images outside your device.
The App does not request other sensitive permissions such as microphone or location.
We do not provide, sell, or share user information with any third party not described in this Policy, except that, in connection with the use of the AI feature, we send the necessary information to the Google Gemini API as described in Section 2. However, this does not apply where disclosure is required by law, such as in response to a lawful request for disclosure.
While the App is not limited to a specific age group, it is designed not to collect personal information. Guardians are encouraged to review this Policy regarding their children's use of the App.
We may change this Policy in response to changes in laws or the addition of features to the App. If we make a significant change, we will provide notice within the App or by a method designated by us. The revised Policy takes effect when it is posted within the App or in a location designated by us.
